I have a two wire system that was using an older thermostat that was not digital. My old thermostat wasn't clearly labeled and so it was hard to know what temp I was actually setting it on. This one works perfectly with my two wire system (although I do have to run it off the batteries) and it very accurately sets the temperature and reflects the current temp. This product is very easy to install to replace those old mercury analog thermostats for in-floor heating. Just make sure that you have a 2 wire system. The on/off switch really isn't that important during the coldest months because you set the exact temperature you want and leave it on! No more guessing if the temperature is too warm or too cold.
