I bought this fan to help disperse heat from the Fireplace but it doesnt seem to move a lot of air. I can barely tell a difference in airflow from when it's off and when it's on. It is very noisy and I still tend to keep it off most the time. The unit also takes quite a bit of time for the thermostat to heat which allows the unit to turn on. You can fix this by cutting out the thermostat and wiring the two wires together (the thermostat just connects the wires when it heats up).
