I loved it so much that I went out and bought another one! Enough said.

I read reviews before buying this and I was concerned that it might break after one week. I bought mine directly from the Lowe's. So whoever heater that broke after a week probably got a defective one. I have this heater for almost 2 months now and it is still running well. I wanted to give it a longer time before leaving a review. It heats up the room quickly. It is quieter than my previous heater. The light is awfully bright as the other reviewers have said. I just tape a cardboard over it and that helps. It has an automatic feature. If you set your heater to 65 degrees, the heater will stay on until it reaches this temperature. You also have the option to set it on "Stay On". I will recommend this to anyone under a budget and wants to sleep at night without having to worry about turning it off in the middle of the night.Best Deals on Bionaire Tower Ceramic Heater
Originally, my family bought two of these from Costco somewhere in the $50 range. For over a year, it has performed well, giving consistent warmth to bedrooms and bathrooms.Some positives:
* Very slim. It's tall, and doesn't take up a lot of space.
* Quiet.
* Comes with a wireless remote. Very useful when you don't want to get up to change the settings or to turn it off.
* LCD screen indicator. A very nice touch.
* Several modes: max heat, eco friendly, and a desired temperature.
* Osculating mode is quiet and moves smoothly.
Drawbacks:
* Max heat settings can use too much electricity. At our house, we don't use the max heat because it usually cuts off our electricity temporarily.
Overall, a solid ceramic heater with some nice features.
Honest reviews on Bionaire Tower Ceramic Heater
These heat so well that I bought another one after I purchased my first. I use two to heat my moderately sized living room (this is a total of 3kwh) instead of running my central heat (15kwh). The cost savings are astronomical at more than $100 per month if you normally use electric heat in a multi-story new construction home.One broke on me at the very end of the 2010 winter season and I'm just waiting for Bionare to get delivery of a shipment of the same model so they can ship me a new one. They did offer to upgrade me and send me one that they had available, but I really love this unit.
The other one, the fan isn't silent and instead makes a bit of a mechanical noise while it's running, but I haven't called back on that one because it's not too big of a deal.
I would recommend this heater to family and friends for convenience, effectiveness, and cost savings.
