we drink alot of tea. instead of having to boil water we have this on our counter. Also great because its so big and contains so much water we need to fill it up once a week. and if we have guest we dont need to refill multiple times like the smaller one. Had a hamilton beach before and after 7 months the unit was leaking all over the place. Had this one for about 5 months and so far so good

If you're looking for something that brews a lot of coffee and doesn't look like a percolator, this is a great solution. It is kind of tedious but it gets the job done and looks pretty cool. It still does get grounds in the coffee and isn't a world-class piece of equipment, but the price is right.
