This, the cycle thermostat, fixed the problem. The only other 2 choices are the high limit switch and the flame sensor.
This is on an older Maytag DG303 dryer (propane, but same part for natural gas). I understand this parts fits other
brands.
Inexpensive (& relatively easy) way to breathe new life into an old, but quality, appliance.
