I bought this item on September 1st, 2011 and received it 5 days later and it stopped working on 1/14/12. I used it for one purpose only: to heat up hookah coals. I used it daily and only once a day for about 8-10 minutes. It was never abused, it was in one place the whole time, never moved, never dropped or anything like that. It worked good while it was working but it just stopped working one day and that was the end of it. I give it 2 stars because it did its job while it was operational but I was disappointment with how short it lasted. So if you want a longer lasting portable burner, pick something else.
