Purchased this item to monitor and control the temperature in our vacation home. Installation of the relay on the heater was a bit confusing and if you have no electrical experience I would definately recommmend having a qualified electritian do the installation. Other than that, the unit does what it states. You will need a Redlink Gateway to complete the installation which may not be clear when you first buy the system. It's expensive but worth the piece of mind knowing that your house will not freeze over and the ability to walk into a warm home when you arrive is great. Iphone app is very easy to use and you can set up e-mail alerts for hot and cold temps.Inteligent device, used to control my fireplace insert blower, it adapts to the firing of the stove and makes my whole house so cozy.
