1. I had to conduct an experiment with a thermometer to figure out whether the "Min" and "Max" on the dial meant "maximum cooling" or "maximum temperature". I think Min is the warmest, and Max is the coldest.
2. Wine bottles vary in thickness a bit. (For example, a typical Pinot Noir bottle is a little wider than a typical Cabernet Sauvignon bottle.) The spaces for wine bottles are a bit small for getting the wider ones in and out, and I probably couldn't fit a bunch of the wider ones near each other. So it can hold 12 narrow bottles fine, but not 12 wider ones.

I have now had this product for One month. it really does the job of cooling the wines well, albiet with some faults. First, it doesnt have a real Temp gauge, and if i wasn't doing quick shopping when i first bought it i wouldn't have got it if i had known. Its kinda a guesstimate as to the temperature. 2nd. The little LED is far insufficient for internal light, needs more. That aside, quiet, good aesthetically pleasing cooler from Haier a fairly reliable company, all in all a fairly solid 3.5 4.0.. next time though im getting one with a pronounced temp gauge.Best Deals on Haier HVW12ABB 12-Bottle Wine Fridge, Black
I needed somewhere to reliably store wine in my apartment... which is not a constant temperature or humidity (living near the beach it can get quite humid). This is a very simple solution. It is a small form factor and easily fits into small places in my apartment. It is quiet only a small fan in the back making noise. All in all, for the price this is a great buy.My complaints consist of... 1) poor packaging. It was poorly packaged for shipping and arrived with a scratch on the left side and a dent in the back. Still usable, but annoying. 2) There is no real means of measuring the temperature. It is just a dial, like in your average refrigerator, that you turn one way for "cooler" and the other way for less cool. But, again, at this price, it is well worth the money. 3) The LED that lights up the bottles inside can be annoying. There doesn't appear to be a means of turning it off.
I went so far as to buy another one as a Christmas present. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a nice place to keep their wine, but doesn't want to break the bank to get it.
