Works great; I checked the accuracy at +/2 degrees. Pretty good for 10 bucks. I use it in my Japanese soaking tub to set the temp and it is accurateBest Deals on Oregon Scientific NAW881 Indoor/Outdoor Digital Thermometer
It does its job for its low cost, however, it has two problems. The display alternates between the time and the temperature, which is annoying and useless. We all have enough clocks and watches to not need another one. This would be fine if you could flip a switch and turn off the clock, but you can't. The second problem is that you have to slide a switch to change the indoor/outdoor temperature display. It would make more sense to either have both displayed at the same time, or to alternate between indoor and outdoor temperatures instead of time. It's not such a big deal considering the price, but an analog thermometer is much less annoying. For those who care, the outdoor probe was reading temperatures at +130F, I didn't test its limits, but it did that much.Honest reviews on Oregon Scientific NAW881 Indoor/Outdoor Digital Thermometer
I bought this unit five or six years ago and it recently quit. As stated elsewhere, the display shows either the indoor or outdoor temperature alternating with the time. It is easy to change which temperature is displayed from the front. The unit can be mounted on a wall with double-stick tape or set on a flat surface with a tip-out support. It was a little tricky setting the time as the buttons were very small but this only has to be done when daylight time changes or the battery is replaced so it is not a big deal.
The sensor cord is fairly long so you have some flexibility in locating it outside. A wire bracket is supplied to mount the outside sensor.
The original batery lasted up until about a year ago and was easy to replace. Recently the digits stopped displaying correclty and the readout can not be understood. Considering the cost and the length of life, I am thinking of buying another one.
