make sure to cross reference your correct part number . this is an updated part number that replaces many. In my case, it allowed me to replace only the bad part instead of an expensive wiring harness.
I recommend you solder it and use heat shrink tubing to seal it

Worked perfect.It was easy to install . The wires were color coated to match the original. I used wire nuts to tie in to the multi plug connection. saved me the price of an expensive service visit or purchase of a new refrigerator.

Bought this when our freezer wasn't defrosting, which made the fan noise louder and it was on most of the time. Thermostat was most likely suspect. Thermostat is located behind panels in back of freezer, left side. This was for Whirlpool model E114JKXGW02, top freezer model.

Kenmore defrost thermostat was exact replacement. Will be purchasing spare since either the thermostat or defrost time or both fail periodically causing freezer to ice up.
