It works ok. Not as easy to override the temp settings as others I have used, but, it works well. The quality control from this company doesn't seem to be very good as the first one I got didn't work. Their customer service had me do a few basic tests on the unit and then said it was defective. Price was the main reason I bought this unit. If the White Rodgers unit I used in other homes was available, I would recommend it over this unit.
