This part tested bad in my freezer. I looked up the part on whirlpool's part site and found the part number. It was about $30 there. Much cheaper here.I don't know that this is the exact replacement part for my whirlpool refrigerator, since the leads were rather short. I had to cut the old leads and splice the new ones in. Maybe this is normal, it is my first time doing this. I bought some heat shrink butt splices at a hardware store to make this work.
My freezer now defrosts regularly as it is supposed to.
Product is satisfactory.
