I purchased this for my husband who is into camping out of his canoe. He wanted to dehydrate some food that would be easily packable and not take up much space. We are very happy with this dehydrator. It works really well, dries consistently on each "shelf", and wasn't too expensive. Our only complaint is that we didn't buy a bigger size!

It truly is gunk! It last only 2months of use, and thereafter my daughter gifted me hers that was also new and again it broke down,now it blows only cold air there a waste of money beware !The inexpensive ones will probably last more than 2 months. It is a redicilous made product the Excalibur !
