Bought a new media cabinet and there was no airflow. I put one CG Cabcool 1202 Deluxe on both sides. The product does what it says: set a temperature and watch it kick on and off keeping your equipment nice and cool. The nice thing is that they are both very quiet.

I installed these fans about 18 months ago. I installed them into a custom desk that we had built into our motor home. There was no air flow in the desk and our laptop kept overheating. The laptop in on 24/7 (work unit)so it was important for it to function correctly.

This system included a digital readout and a remote temperature probe. The lead on the probe was not long enough so I splice on the same size wires to the length I needed. I placed the probe under the laptop, and set the unit to come on at 96deg.F and turn off at 86deg.F . It has preformed flawlessly over the last 18 months. It keeps the computer cool and we have had no more computer problems associated with overheating.

I installed this cooling system in my entertainment system cabinet about nine months ago, and it has worked flawlessly since installation. The cooling fans are pretty easy to install, and the instructions for setting up the cooling system on/off parameters are easy to understand. I wouldn't say the cooling fans are completely inaudible, but they're pretty quiet and barely noticeable, especially if they're mounted toward the rear of your entertainment system.

I installed this fan unit inside an enclosed cabinet where I wanted to install my cable boxes, BlueRay player, receiver and video switches. It vents between two studs in the adjacent wall and keeps the equipment cool. The fans are very quiet, and the thermostat runs them only when needed.

I am disappointed in this item. This thing was not cheap so I expected more,

It is very well made but I cannot highly recommend.

Unless you always listen to movies or music at very loud levels,

you will find yourself unplugging the thing as I have.

I know I can replace the fans with quieter ones that run at a slower speed, but for what this cost,

you would think the mfg would have selected better/more appropriate fans.

About 15 years ago, I purchased a Bunn home duty coffee maker and found it to be excellent. After about 5 years of nearly daily use, it started to get a little finicky so I took it apart in an attempt to clean the hot water chamber. Turned out the sealing parts are not really made to be taken apart after 5 years of use and then go back together.

In a quest for a new Bunn, I found that the VPR cost about double what the home version cost so.... 10 years later, the Bunn VPR is still going strong and has helped out at family events serving large groups of people (just what the machine is designed for!). Despite having water poured into the bottom heat plate (don't try to pour water in without a carafe in place), it still works perfectly!

A hint to those who make coffee only on the weekends: the design of the Bunn is that it is a small hot water tank and keeps a couple gallons of water hot and ready to go at all times. This will use some electricity and I've taken to putting a towel over the top of mine to help insulate and lower energy usage. Additionally, being hot all the time, water will evaporate. If going more than a couple days without making coffee, it's best to pour a pitcher of water in (with the filter basket empty and a carafe ready to catch the hot water) to top off the tank and then make a pot with coffee after it has reheated the reservoir.

If by some Act of God, my Bunn stops working, I will not hesitate to purchase another Commercial Bunn for what is essentially personal, home use. If you love coffee and can tolerate the price, this is a great choice for a coffee brewer!

I have worked in the foodservice industry for years, and the Bunn has always been the standard by which commercial coffeemakers are judged. Years ago, I decided to buy the consumer version for my home, and although it served me well, it eventually wore out and I wanted something better and sprang for the VPR. One nice feature of the Bunn is that you can unscrew the sprayhead, leave the filter basket off and you can instantly have a couple of pots of very hot water available for recipes. I typically buy the gallon size Lipton tea bags, put one in a decanter, run a decanter of water through and let it steep for about 10-15 minutes and add enough water to make a gallon, people love my Iced tea.

If you do unscrew the sprayhead, set it in the screened inlet where you pour the water into the maker, so that you don't inadvertently start a pot of coffee without the sprayhead in place. I did get a steal of a deal on mine new on ebay for $100.00...

I am very unhappy about the write up on this item. I did not see the notation on the bottom of the page "Please note that the decanters for this unit (Bunn 6100 and 6101 Easy Pour) are sold separately." until the order had been processed. Both Costco and Sams had the same unit with 2 decanters included for less money. In all, this added $75.00 over the units from the other retailers. You should put that info on the top of the page in the description so a consumer can compare "apples to apples" not apples to lemons".

PS. after discussing the issue on the phone with Jacques (JD) in Customer service, an adjustment was made. He noted there were 2 pictures there one with and one without decanters and the larger picture used in the display had 2 decanters. On closer inspection, I discovered they were different models. The one with the decanters has a black protective lid on the water inlet while the one with no decanters had no lid or perhaps a different design feature. Kudos to Jacques for prompt and great customer service.

This little heater didn't look like much on the shelf at the store where I bought it--plastic casing looked flimsy, and I worried it wouldn't last. The 3-year warranty, however, gave me a boost of consumer confidence, and I decided to give it a shot. When I got home and took it out of the box, I was disappointed. The casing indeed looked flimsy, and I expected the unit be bigger, especially in terms of depth, based on the dimensions of the box.

I was surprised then when it turned out to pack quite a punch! It warmed up its surroundings immediately, and I ended up leaving it on all night--it kept the room comfortably warm all night. It doesn't seem flimsy at all any more--just a lightweight unit that does a surprisingly good job! With confidence borne of the 3-year warranty, I'm entirely satisfied with my purchase. I'm glad I took a chance on this little heater.

IT is ok, but not as nice and warm as the radiant Optimus I bought last year but was recalled. It is nice and small, good right next to my chair and I do like the cooling fan part in case It gets a little to warm in the room. Very light weight and easy to use.

the mantal part of it is actaully solid wood, you do have to build it together but once its up its looks great and its very stable. comes up to about your mid waste, not very tall but it looks great for where i put it.

the heater works excellent. it says it heats to 300square feet and i agree with it. it literally will heat the whole house by itself. i live in a townhouse and it keeps the whole thing warm, especially the living room is nice a toasty while we watch TV.

also it is very presentable (the flame). its not over baring fire but its a nice decent little fire.

It makes our house look great and feel great.

Nice looking fireplace and firebox flame was very realistic but didn't throw much heat. Two weeks later the firebox quit working completely. Not sure if the firebox not throwing off much heat was normal or if it was just on its way to quit working all together! Amazon arranged UPS pickup next day and refund was very fast. I ordered the SEI Cartwright Espresso/Slate should be here soon. Hopefully better luck with this brand!

I was amazed to find this fireplace at this price and ordered it right away. The finished product is beautiful! The color is rich and with the remote that's included it's so easy to operate! I put it together myself with my handy drill in about 2 hours. This is the best addition to my livingroom so far and I'm thinking about getting another one for my basement!

I've had this a year now and I've increased the original rating from 3 to 4 stars because it does what it's designed for but with little to no precise temperature control. I use it often outdoors in the summer for BBQ's but with modifications to meet my needs. My hope was to use the plate warmer for burger and hot dog buns and tortillas. First time I tried that I was serving dehydrated bread to my guests cuz it gets so hot. It would work well for warming plates but the temperature controls are far from precise. It gets too hot to touch and when I turn it down ever-so-slightly, it gets too cold. I continue to use it for a bread and tortilla warmer but I put a small metal pan of water in with the bread which keeps the bread moist but now the new problem arises...the steam from the water condenses between the two glass sliding doors and they stick together. One of the doors just needs to be left open slightly to allow the steam to escape and problem solved. I also have to put a rack or towel on the base so the bread does not make contact with the metal or that too will dry it out. Again, I know it was designed as a plate warmer and for that it would work well but I just wanted to share what I intended to use it for in case someone else has the same idea. Now for the top warming pans. I wrote below that I was surprised to find the food on top is heated without any kind of moisture but what I've found is as long as the food is being replenished and doesn't sit in the pans unattended for more than an hour, it actually works very well. I bought extra pans online so when one empties I can just replace it with fresh hot food. Compared to using hotel pans heated with Sterno this has done a solid job. It's much easier than monitoring the Sterno and protecting it from the wind when outdoors. I hope this helps.

3 stars out of the box. I just unpacked this and because I'm in the restaurant business I was surprised to find that the warming pans on top are not part of a steam table or warmed with water. They are simply warmed by sitting atop the cabinet. It just seems counter-intuitive to warm with dry heat. The manual does state that you should have the items you wish to keep warm already hot before adding to the unit because it heats so slow. Perhaps that's the secret. We'll see. Now for the details. What you see in the picture atop the cabinet is simply a steel frame that loosely holds the hotel pans on the top. The frame easily lifts off and can slide side to side (not front to back due to lips impeding such movement) because it is not attached in any way. If you search for other products from Broil King you will find just the warming cabinet ( http://www.amazon.com/BroilKing-MLW-C-Warming-Cabinet-Family-Size/dp/B0018Z2PL8/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1338279109&sr=1-1 ). That warming cabinet is exactly what you have if you remove the frame and pans and it's $100 cheaper than the unit with the pans. I just looked on the restaurant supply store website that I use and found the pans sans the frame for $8 each. The hotel pans (or chafing pans) are 1/2 pans 2.5" deep (a little smaller than I'd hoped). I bought this for entertaining at my house and have not used it yet. It was on my Amazon wishlist for a year and a half and I finally pulled the trigger because we entertain outdoors a lot and we were tired of later guests eating cold food. The heat control knobs for inside and on top of the cabinet are labeled 1, 2 ,3 and I would prefer temps rather than "I hope 2 is warm enough!". We will be using it this weekend (June 3rd, 2012) and I will report back regarding it's performance. I will monitor temps and hopefully be able to report those as well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and I'm pulling for ya Broil King as it is nice to buy an American-made product for once.

I purchased this for my husband who is into camping out of his canoe. He wanted to dehydrate some food that would be easily packable and not take up much space. We are very happy with this dehydrator. It works really well, dries consistently on each "shelf", and wasn't too expensive. Our only complaint is that we didn't buy a bigger size!

It truly is gunk! It last only 2months of use, and thereafter my daughter gifted me hers that was also new and again it broke down,now it blows only cold air there a waste of money beware !

The inexpensive ones will probably last more than 2 months. It is a redicilous made product the Excalibur !
