When the probe for my Brookstone Grill Alert failed, I did some web research, and settled on this CDN probe -at less than half the price of the Brookstone-branded probe. This probe works great with the Grill Alert, giving me readings that are just as accurate as the original probe's.

The grill fried my probe but not my thermometer. Rather than buy another thermometer I searched for a replacement. This one was listed and I got it sooner than expected. It works and I can grill again.

Got two of these for my Maverick monitor--worked for about five minutes, then HHH in the display. I assume the grill was too hot for the probes, so probably user error.
