The description of this unit is sketchy, at best. I bought it to replace the original thermostat for a 120V ceiling mounted fan forced bathroom heater, and it works great. The Honeywell is 4 wire and 2 wire capable, 120V or 240V, has no minimum load requirement, and can handle up to 5280 watts @ 240V. The feature I like best is "positive off", plus the fact it is so much more accurate the the old POS. I deducted 1 star for the description and somewhat confusing instructions (for a simple old handyman like me).

I actually got this for my dog house. I built a 4x8'x8' high dog house for my black lab. He's not allowed in the house so I had to build something comfortable. I use this with a 500watt baseboard heater also bought on Amazon. Been working great for over a year!

Used to upgrade original thermostats which had no temperature scale. Improves setting accuracy. Simple direct replacement. Same wall footprint requires no re-painting.
