I own a white rodgers model number 1f80-261, which appears to be the standard "programable" thermostat sold with most furnaces today. The do not have a listing for mine on amazon yet. This one similar to mine, has time and temp/temp setting on display, with all the keys concealed down below. I have had mine for 2 summers and one winter, and this thermostat saves me a bundle. It has about 4 settings a day for each of the programs, plus weekday and saturday/sunday separate days available for adjustment. My typical summer day started at 76 degrees at 6:30, then up to 82 at 8am when at work, at 4:30 I'd set it back to 76 degrees, and at 10pm 72 degrees to sleep cooler. On the weekends, I'd keep it a little more consistent, since I was here more often. If this had a plug in for a coffee machine, I'd have it set to make my coffee when I got up in the mornning.
Again I have had this for about 2 years now, and I liked it so much, I had my mother get one installed in her house because it's so easy to use. Also, one of my offices is solely equipped with these thermostats, so I get plenty of experience with them. Worth the investment
