I have called their customer service number (888-830-1326 x5) multiple times over the past month and have waited over an hour on hold with no one taking my call...
I have these units installed in my winter home, which I will not be back into until sometime in October, but the service is discontinued in August. I will NEVER buy a Hunter (or any other brand they own) product because of how horrible their customer service is!

I loved this device, and had it for a few months and then I got an email from Hunter last month saying the website and Iphone App supporting this device will be De-activated on august 1st, the good part is they offered me my purchase price back plus any taxes and shipping so that I can buy me one from another Brand, they sent me a visa gift card and I just received it today....Thanks Hunter I hate to see you goBest Deals on Hunter Universal 7-Day Programmable Internet Thermostat with Iphone
Do not waste your money. I have 2 of them. One is upstairs on a heat pump and the other is downstairs on a conventional unit. They use proprietary wireless that does not work with anything else. You can't set the clock, it has to get the time from the Internet and that takes days. The schedule randomly turns itself off. The internal temperature of the house does not update. Commands from the app sometimes go through and sometimes they don't no telling. Get a Nest or a Honeywell unit.Honest reviews on Hunter Universal 7-Day Programmable Internet Thermostat with Iphone
It took a little longer than 5 minutes to install but it does its job. It is a worthwhile purhase.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Hunter Universal 7-Day Programmable Internet Thermostat with Iphone
Buyer beware! If you plan to use this thermostat to control a Heat Pump, note that this thermostat will not show when "2nd Stage Heat" (Aux. Heat). is in use.I consider this a major design flaw for a device that Hunter advertise can operate any eqquipment, including Heat Pump.
Also, the web site has glitches on the "Span" control and "Time" adjustment page.
I discovered that "Aux Heat" comes on every time the heat is on, so your heating bill will hit the roof. Definitely not a thermostat for heat pump.
