I thought with the Lenox name this would be a better pair of pipe cutters, I was wrong. They did not hold up or do any better than a cheaper pair. I've used this type of cutter for more than 20 years in the pool business. Don't waste your money.

This tool is worth the money if you want a clean and straight cut through larger PVC. I've been using it all morning on 2.5" PVC and it cuts straight, clean and easily. I have tried a hacksaw, what a mess. Buy this, it make plumbing easy!

One tip: if it's larger PVC such as 2.5", don't open it too far for each ratchet. One click at a time each opening and it saves your hands. 15 seconds and the cut is done.

The only thing easier would be an electric tool for big bucks.

the blade broke the first time i used it lenox is now made very cheap.not a good product at all

This product works as advertised. I am able to cut all pvc pipe with one hand by the ratchet mechanism. It easily cuts up to a two inch pipe with the same ease as one inch pipe.
