I live in a freezing cold apartment, so I decided to try an electric blanket. Let me tell you, this one is lame!! It didn't heat evenly and sometimes it didn't really heat at all. On the highest setting it was luke warm at best. I gave it a few tries, but it just never worked properly. One time it got so hot that I had to stick my feet out, but the upper half was cool to the touch. Also, the material is absolutely gross. It feels really cheap like a bad motel blanket. It sheds everywhere, so after being under the blanket I had to use a lint roller to clean my clothing off. The material is so thin, leaving the wires visible. Very disappointing product.Best Deals on Sunbeam Royal Nights Twin Heated Blanket, Seashell
This is a crappy product of the first magnitude. The plug has to be constantly reset almost every time you move the blanket a bit, which means you have to get out of bed to unplug it and plug it back in again.Junk, junk, junk.

I have had this blanket now for over a year. It is still working well, and I use it every night to help my restless legs relax. It never fails to work, and will shut off after 10 hours if you accidently forget to turn it off.I plan to purchase 3 for my grandchildren for Christmas because they love sliding into my warm bed.
