I was getting some pretty high monthly bills using the standard baseboard heaters with the typical resistant type heating elements. They appeared to be cheaply made, as well.
So, I surveyed my home. Getting the number and correct lengths for the Hydronic baseboard heaters. I had to find other suppliers because Amazon's vendors didn't have all sizes needed.
I used two(2) other suppliers. I have a two(2) floor, two(2)bedroom one(1) bathroom; kitchen/dining room and a finished upstairs den/activity room Cape Cod type house.
This required two(2)\six(6) foot hydronic heaters upstairs; one(1)\two(2) footer by the back kitchen door downstairs with one(1)\five(5)foot hydronic heater against the kitchen's interior wall; one(1)\six(6) footer under the front living-room double window and one(1)\four(4) foot heater under an adjacent window, also, in the living-room; one(1)\two(2) foot hydronic in our full bathroom, which would be considered smaller than the average bathroom by today's standards. One(1)\five(5)foot heater placed under the window in the back bedroom; two(2)\four(4) foot hydronic baseboards were attached under the two(2) adjacent windows in the master-bedroom.

During the winter months, my electric bills would average over $200.00 apprx.
After installation and a few months use over winter months, the electric bills averaged a little over $100.00.
This was significant enough to bring a smile to my face.
Understand that this reflects only performance within the environment of my home. Different results may vary with other installations.
I would assume, that if the customer is replacing the resistance coil type heaters with the liquid filled hermetically sealed heating elements as seen in these hydronic units, a reduction in electrical power use should result.
I have no doubt, in my opinion, that these hydronic type heating units earn a five star rating.

We bought this unit more than 5 years ago (cannot remember how long before then) when larger selection of hydronic heaters were available. This unit continues to work, turning our 3/4-season sunroom into a comfortable year-around room. It is very safe, there are no loose parts, the liquid supporting the heating method has not leaked, dripped, etc. Entire unit is solidly built and puts out so much heat that my husband can sweat if he stays in the room too long. A small change in thermostat equates to a large heat output. With 3 dogs running around, this unit has tipped over a few times. Each time, the security feature turned off the unit stopping any potential harm. We are VERY satisfied. For someone who has children playing on the floor, I recommend hieghtened attention or prohibiting the children from playing on the floor in front of the unit unless an adult is with them, because the unit produces a lot of heat in a short period of time, and many children do not recognize or report to an adult the major they feel in temperature. I would be concerned about too much high heat focused onto the child in a focused and short timeframe. The only downside is that you cannot adjust the unit to redirect the airflow, yet this seems to be common with other baseboard heaters I have seen.
