My base board heater was either on or off, there was no temperature control for the room. Although my heaters are in a beige color I just swapped the thermostat onto the old plate and switched to the old knob. Now it is working perfectly.

I use these thermostats to control the temperature of individual electric baseboards in order to balance the heat in larger areas very effective in providing even heating.

It's a thermostat what more can you really say? It works like a thermostat should. The price is slightly cheaper than the ones I found around my home town and the shipping was fast. Just make sure you know which color to get! There is only white and biege I believe but, I ordered the wrong color. My mistake! Works just the same though.
