It's a beautiful, rich IVY green color. Love that. It's icky, slimy feeling polyester, but what am I gonna do? Dislike that.
It's a very convenient size if I wanted a full-on blanket size, that's what I would have bought. I'm thankful for this convenient size. Like that.
The plug is in a most awkward position (several inches away from the blanket's border/edge) in addition to the cord being toooooo short, so it's very annoying to try and get situated and comfy while staying on that short leash. REALLY Hate that.
It's only warm towards the middle and has too much non-heated space. Hate that, too.
All in all it's only OK as in "better than nothing". It's even better than OK if used on top of a cotton lap blanket to help insulate against the cold air that seeps in through the unheated areas of the heated throw. Eh, what?
BUT...It's a very beautiful, rich IVY green color. Love that.
Best Deals on Sunbeam Royal Elegance Microplush Throw
The good part was the blanket came earlier than advertized, thanks to Amazon Prime! Bad part was the blanket. It's really small, and the length is only about 4 feet. Otherwise the blanket functions as directed by the seller.Honest reviews on Sunbeam Royal Elegance Microplush Throw
Ordered the Sunbeam Microplush heated throw and was initially disappointed upon opening the package:* Saw and felt rigid wire framework within a barely plush throw
* Large, stiff, securely pasted-on product label also interfered with comfort
* Odd placement of control cord in lower middle edge of throw and length of cord made for difficulty in reaching control
* Control dial itself was actually quite easy to use
* Not fairly priced [especially considering quality]
Received a second, different brand heated throw as a gift just last week:
* Much more flexible wire framework within a soft plushy throw
* Product label was just as large as Sunbeam, but was flexible and easily removeable, if desired
* Control cord attached at lower corner of throw was a good location, but had same difficulty in ease of reaching control
* Control not as easy to set as the Sunbeam, but OK
* Cost $20 less than Sunbeam [I asked the gift giver]
Would have returned Sunbeam, even before having received 2nd as gift, but others had noted difficulties with return process.
Will see how the 2 compare after washing and how they endure upon use, but wish I had returned the Sunbeam throw.
