I am very happy with this product. It makes a wonderful gluten free wrapper. I use it to make lumpia wraps and pancakes for my Mu Shu Pork. It is easy to use and comes with a plastic dipping dish and brush. The dipping dish is made of plastic (not a high grade plastic... but it gets the job done)and has a grove on one side which the crepe maker's handle fits into ensuring you are able to dip it into the batter fully while maintaining a level position. This ensures a nice even and thin layer of batter is placed onto the heated creape maker when dipped. I have tried brushing the batter onto the crepe maker, pouring the batter onto it and then spreading it with the included brush but I have found that dipping works best for me. I will dip the crepe maker for one to two second then lift it up out of the batter keeping the crepe maker facing down for several seconds before flipping it over for the remainder of the required cooking time. It is easy to tell when your crepe is done as the outside edges become dry looking and they easily peel up from the surface. When I am able to lift the free edge around the entire crepe, I pull it off and flip to cook for a half minute on the other side. Using this tool, I can finally make gluten free wrappers which are thin and flexible enough to be filled with a lumpia mix and then deep fried. The completed lumpia comes out looking like its wheat counterpart with a crisp texture. It has been a long processing for me trying to find alternate methods of cooking gluten free which match or exceed their intended goal of the original wheat based prodcut in taste and texture. I would not have been able to master the lumpia wrapper without this electric crepe maker as a tool in my arsenal. I love it!

I used to make great crepes with a domed crepe pan that was used on the stovetop. I've tried several others since I got stuck with an electric stove--supposedly, the stovetop domed ones don't work on electric. The crepes have come out awful, no matter how hard I tried. I got a large electric domed crepe maker and couldn't make it work at all. It had loads of good reviews, and I never got one crepe out of it. Finally gave it to the Sally Army.

When I saw this one, I was hesitant. Everything else had been a disaster--why would this one work? But it does. It's as good as the old "Crepes and Things" one that worked for me before. The crepes are thin, delicate, and nicely browned.

After about 20 years, our venerable Sunbeam crepe maker was due to head to the recycling bin. So we bought this one, on the basis of the reviews. The crepe maker is fine; works well; handles easily. We recommend it. But the batter pan is cheap cheap cheap plastic that doesn't even hold its shape. The maker could spend perhaps $1.00 more and make decent hard-plastic pan that would retain its shape and the product would be much much better. We threw the new pan—it simply was unusable—and kept the old one, from the Sunbeam machine. Otherwise, this product would get 5 stars.

I was surprised at how easy this is to use. The crepes turned out exactly like I expected, nothing sticks, and the mess was minimal. I've used it three times, once with a pancake recipe and twice with a crepe recipe. It's as easy as a waffle maker honestly.

Easy to use, looks good. It is durable and the little pan that comes with it is key for making those perfect crepes. I had a crepe on my first try!
