Nice item for the price. The only downside I can find is that the heating element is either on or off. There is no ramping up or ramping down temp. What that means is that the temperature will over shoot the setpoint by about twenty degrees C when heating batches of 100-200mL. Also if you don't want to put the thermistor in your solution but just want a little heat, it can't be done without constant monitoring. This thing gets hot!!!!!!

It works for the purpose I wanted it for. It arrived in perfect condition. Was easy to assemble.Everything did what it was supposed to do.
The digital display makes setting the temp easy.
My only negative comment is that the temperature seems to go a bit higher than I would expect when warming up.
To be fair, I am dumping freezing cold material into a beaker of water and the material takes a little time to boil off. This may be why it jumps high. I'm not sure, but it works great for my use. I would recommend this product for home/hobby use.
