AFter researching all the warming plates, I chose the Broil King NWT-1B. We received this today and although the unit heats correctly, I find the fit and finish to be low quality. The black plastic side handles are cheap looking and the sides were scuffed up making the item look worn. This model is all black yet the screws in the front are bright stainless. Overall my impression is that this is not well thought out and it just like a cheap appliance. I expected better from a company whose customer base is mostly commercial.

Purchased two of these in December and used both for Xmas and New Years family celebrations. Got a great deal through Amazon. They both work great keeping cooked food nice and warm. No more hurry up being afraid the food will get cold. Allows the Chef more freedom in binging prepared dishes to the table. A must have for those home buffets, brunches, even for take out foods. Great for keeping warm that Super Bowl Spread or Chinese Take Out. Simply transfer the take out to any kind of glass server(s) and you have a buffet which will stay warm for hours. Very easy to clean, and dry foods can be placed directly on the warmer itself, such as pancakes, waffles, dinner rolls etc..

I love my Broil King Warming Tray. Every year I give a big Easter Brunch and this helps keeps some of our treats warm. The only complaint is that the same item I brought last year the knob keeps falling off. I am lucky that I always see where it falls as I can just pop it back on. I don't have little ones around so it doesn't get mishandled and I only use it a few time a year. I am not sure why this happens but other then that I love my purchase and would buy another one. Thanks.

I bought this warmer to keep things hot (with a car plug converter) for tailgating. It's great! Keep casseroles hot, meats & tortillas warm, on the way and while you eat. Things do slide around, so expect scratches. Can't wait to use it for the holidays.
