I attached it to a QuadraFire pellet stove and it works well. The only thing that would make it better would be a method to attach it temporarily to a wall like a regular thermostat. I used a peel and stick command strip, but think a piece of velcro might work better if you are taking it down a lot. Otherwise, I recommend it.

This product works well and was easy to setup and install. If you are thinking of purchasing one be aware that I sent mine back twice as it just looked plain beatup upon arrival. I was assured by the vendor they were new units. I don't understand how something new can be all scuffed up. Funtionality is great! Presentation not so much :(

Built in thermostat will replace the one on the wall. Battery powered no power required. RF remote goes through walls enabling to locate reciever in the basement. Very hot! (No pun intended)
