I've been using Wrap-on heat tapes for the last 10 years, they are easy to work with. I like the indicator light on the power cord, I can tell at a glance if the heat tape is working or not. I now have three heat tapes of different lengths.
We live in a motor home and use the heat tape to keep our water hose from freezing in the winter. I've used the Wrap-On tapes down to 20 below zero and the water always flows as long as we don't loose electric power. I'm surprised that Wrap-On does not market to RV owners.
This tape is superior to the type that has the temperature sensor under the insulation.Product received very promptly and was exactly as advertised. Excellent vendor.
