I installed an exhaust fan in my garage. I wanted it to come on and go off automatically. I bought the Duct Stat for this purpose. I mounted the Duct Stat to a rafter in the garage, making sure the air hole in the back was unobstructed. I plugged the Duct Stat into a 110v outlet that was all ready installed in the garage. Then I plugged the fan into the Duct Stat. Here is how I set the temperature: First I put a thermometer in the garage. When the temperature in the garage reached the temperature I wanted the fan to come on, I set the Duct Stat. I moved the switch on the Duct Stat to heat. This sounds backwards but it's not in this case. Remember this devise was designed to be used in ducting. I moved the adjustment screw until the fan came on. No need to move it anymore. When the temperature gets to the set point the fan comes on. It will stay on as long as temperature stays above this point. If the temperature drops below this point it will turn off. This setup works perfectly and keeps my garage a lot cooler in the hot summer months.

We live in Maine and we have an air-tight fireplace to supplement heating in our home. It has a cement block air chamber around it with a 110V fan used to move air from floor level ... through the air chamber area ... and then out into the home via slotted vents in the chimney above the fireplace. The problem was that we would turn off the fan when we went to bed so that it would not run all night after the fire died out and thereby loose out on circulating the heat during those first several hours when the fire was still burning. So ... I ordered the DuctStat (which arrived on time and in good condition) hoping to automate the fan to turn on when the heat in the air chamber reached about 75, then continue to run until the fire died out and the temperature dropped below 75, hence turning off the fan.

When I received the DuctStat I used a hair dryer and IR temp gun to set the ON/OFF point and then plugged it into the fans electrical circuit. We used it last night and it worked perfectly. I am very happy with the results so far and if it continues to operate as it did last night, I would give this product the fifth star.

The DuctStat 100 thermostat seems like a nice little unit for what I'm doing, but so far the first one they sent was defective. I'm hoping the relacement works. I can't give it more than 2 stars until I see it work!

Also, ClimateDoctors didn't put enough postage on the first shipment so I had to go all the way down to the post office to pay the postage due before I could receive my package. To their credit, ClimateDoctors gave me a rapid refund of the postage due.

After days of searching the web ,places like eBay ,Harbor frieght and many,many others i found this heater here on Amazon, the price was much better than the other sites for a btu rating of 30,000 and having a blower all ready installed , the heater was a little bigger than i thought it would be, but not a problem ,i purchased it for my 12x16 ft work shop,it was actually an over kill, even though my work shop is not insulated this heater will roast you out if turn up on high, i only have to set it at about the number 2 setting to make my shop nice and comfertable, the heater shipped reasonably quick, it did arrive with a small dent in the left front corner due to rough handling by ups, but was a minor fix bending it back to shape, the instalation was easy and the blu flame looks awsome burning, it is quite quiet when on and the blower is nice and quiet to, i had it hooked up to a 50lb tank and it has barely used any propane, this would be a very nice heater for in the home too as a back up or to help warm up a house on a chilly morning, im having a new house built this spring and you can bet that there will be one of these in it, i am very pleased with this hearter and i highly recommend it. i live in NE Pennsylvannia, and we get some very cold winters here, with this heater going i love to do my tinkering in my shop now on a cold winter's day, my buddies come over to hang in my shop now in the winter to shoot the bs and my girlfriend loves that theres no tracking up her floors now because us guys are all out in the shop, if your looking to save on your home heating bill this heater is the ticket, if you have a hunting cabin and need something better than a wood stove this heater is your ticket, although it does have a blower you do not need electric to use this stove. it also is versable in the means of it can be use with natural gas to, a very simple little change to convert it over from propane if you desire, all changes are in the hearter its self no going to the store to buy this and that, i give this heater both thumbs up, a very satisfied customer here Sure Heat 30,000 BTU Blue Flame Dual Fuel Gas Space Heater with Thermostat and Blower

The heater works great, I have no problems with it at all, I really love it, the blower when set on automatic starts up and then stays on for a short while after the heater goes off, but it is kind of loud. It was very easy to hook up, we had no problems with that, even came with the hook up line to hook it, it's a flexible line, (we replaced a old one that was broken). The only problem I had with this has nothing to do with the workings the heater itself, it's grill that goes on the front of it that was broken when we got it, it doesn't effect the heater any at all, just a little safety feature. I contacted the company and after several emails back and forth, they sent me out a replacement, or so I thought! The grill was way too small, so I sent off another email to the company and have not heard a word from them about it. I told them that if they sent me out the shipping label I would send one the 'new one' that is way too small back to them, like I said, I have not heard a word from them and that was on Oct., 23, 2012, probably won't hear back at them if it's taken this long! I love the heater, but would like the company even more if they would just either read their emails and replace the wire screen for the heater or just tell me that I'm not getting one to replace it, that the warranty doesn't cover it, (which it should!), it's suppose to come with a one year warranty I believe. I ordered the heater on the 24th. of Sept., and it came shortly after that, but like I said, after receiving the wrong replacement part, I contacted Sure Heat again and have not heard a word from them at all, I would recommend the heater, it does heat very well and works really great, but if I'm having this kind of problem with the company, I think I would order from another company if I'm wanting to ever replace it. ***I just wanted to update everyone about the company, I DID finally get email from them today, 11/12/12 and they said they never got my email I sent on the 23rd. of Oct., and asked if I still wanted a replacement, I replied to them that yes I still would like a replacement and if they sent a shipping label I would send the smaller one back we had received. The heater is good enough, and puts out adequate heat. Not real stable on its legs and would probably be better if mounted on the wall, but that does not fit my space. The first heater I received had some cosmetic issues, but Amazon quickly sent me a replacement, so overall I'm satisfied.

I am very happy with my Electric Fireplace. It is very beautiful and well made. It is also very easy to put together. It comes in about four sections plus the fireplace piece and you easily assemble it. I had no problems. Once it was put together, I just turned it on and enjoyed! I would Definitely recommend this fireplace, it was well worth the money. I only wish that they gave you a choice to choose Light, Medium or Dark Oak colors. I would have prefered the Light or Medium Oak color, but the Dark Oak is nice too. It just depends on your taste in the shade of Oak that you like.

The build quality of this product is solid overall. The documentation is excellent, and installation was fairly straightforward using the provided template. The only difficulty I encountered was that the vent cover did not initially snap into place as stated in the manual and required some creative adjustment.

The fan operates as described, turning on only when its temperature threshold is reached and turning off when the heat inside my cabinet dissipates. My one complaint with this product is that the fan itself is NOT as quiet as I had hoped.

I can hear it distinctly when listening to my system at low volume. This is definitely something to consider depending on the proximity of your media cabinet to your listening position. In my case, I feel that the benefits provided by this solution i.e., extending the lifespan of my A/V equipment by keeping my cabinet properly ventilated outweigh the one negative.

I am using the Cabinet Cooler in an enclosed space where I store my PS3, which gets quite warm when playing games or Blu-Rays. Since purchasing and installing the product, I no longer hear the PS3's tiny (and loud) fan whirring at maximum speed, and I don't have to worry about the PS3 or other devices in the same cabinet having a shortened lifespan. I have installed a dozen or more of these Middle Atlantic Cab Cool fan kits for client's and yes, they are a bit pricey but in my experience they work well for venting smaller audio video or computer equipment cabinets. It can also be thermostatically controlled which is a nice feature if you don't want to have the fan running 24/7 (the fan comes on when cabinet temp reaches about 87 degrees). If you have a larger area to cool then obviously this little 3.5" fan is not the solution but Middle Atlantic and other companies such as Active Thermal Management make all sorts of ventilation solutions for larger cabinets. Some reviews have indicated the fan was noisy although I have not experienced that issue.

A general rule for any cabinet cooling project is to have both an air intake and outlet for the cabinet. This way you actually create airflow through the cabinet, drawing cool air in from the bottom and positioning the fan as high up in the cabinet as possible to draw the hot air out the top or side. If you have built in cabinets a common solution is to create an air intake through the toe kick of the cabinets and both active and passive solutions are available for doing this. Also, (if you really want to get technical about it) several fan kit manufacturers have calculators to determine what amount of air a fan has to move in order to efficiently cool the volume of your particular cabinet.

This heater seems to have been cranked out to take advantage of the popularity of the new Micathermic technology. This new heating technology heats up the panel very quickly, but takes as long as the oil heaters to heat the room. This is to be expected. With out a fan, the speed of heating is determined by the size of the heating surface. Which in this case is around 30" X 30". This technology is completely silent, compared to the bubbling noise of the oil radiators.

Ok, the mistakes Soleus made. The digital thermostat is somewhat for show. In my 10' X 10' room the heater is set for 77 but the room never reaches 70 degrees. The heater turns off making you think it has reached it's goal. Same room, I put in another Soleus heater. I initially left this heater at the default 68 degrees that is displayed when the unit first comes on. Now the room stays above 78 degrees. After much experimentation and repositioning of heaters, I've discovered a trend. Each heater has a fixed error in their temp sensor. For instance the previous mentioned heater is exactly ten degrees off. You set it for 68, it tries to keep the room at 78. This error is different for each heater. In addition these heaters have roughly a five degree response range. In other words it may keep heating for an addtional five degrees past the target setting and after turning off may not start again until it's more than five degrees below the target setting.

Soleus did a great job at making a silent technology noisy. The single Micathermic panel heats up very quickly, so it expands quickly. Initially you'll hear these little creaking pops as the housing mount points are trying to hang on to the panel as it expands. Then you'll hear a gong as the panel bows out under pressure. These sounds aren't loud, but in a quiet room in the middle of the night, it wakes me up. Smaller multiple panels might reduce this noise problem.

As far as the smell, hang in there. It takes awhile, but it eventually goes away.

I gave this heater three stars because the problems I pointed out are pretty much the norm for most portable heaters I've used. Micathermic technology is great, someone just needs to put it in a quality device.

First unit dead after 6 months (lights come on no heat)

replacement huge dent in back panel on arrival (box perfect... they sent it that way!)

second replacement OK for a few months. Tried it as the weather got colder this month. Worked once, now won't heat up.

Customer service says the warranty starts (and ends) based on the original purchase date, so I'm out of luck.

We are currently living in a small house with no central heat or air while we save for a new house. Because of this, we have had an opportunity to try several types of portable heaters. This heater is by far my favorite. Last year it kept my bedroom very warm. The heat radiates out more slowly than many of the heaters we have tried and it really warms up the room instead of just racing to the ceiling. I never thought about that before, but we are very happy with the results. We are just starting our second year with this heater and have ordered three more just like it. I have read several reviews on heaters and it is weird how some people will love a heater while others hate the same heater. All I can say is that we are using it as a primary source of heat in about 150 square feet where temperatures frequently get in the teens and it seems to do the job well.

I've just had this a short time and have been testing it out, so I can't speak to the reliability issues that some have raises. I do think that problem units tend to make it into these reviews more than the trouble free ones. After all, if you get a lemon you are highly motivated to tell the world.

This unit heats my room up much faster than the 1500w Deloughi oil unit that I tried. It is much quieter than the Sunbeam quartz unit that I tried. There is a slight hum when it is heating, but not at all objectionable. There is definitely some radiant effect that you can feel several feet away so it can be used as an instant-heat, personal heater. I find the thermostat to be fairly accurate. The room has been running 1 or 2 degrees hotter than the setting. Room is 180 sq. ft.

I am concerned about EMF radiation, so I tested it with a gauss meter. It gets into the "safe" range at about 32" (2 gauss). The reading is negligible at about 52" (.01 gauss). If you don't know what I am talking about, you should do some research if you want to avoid cancer. Most heaters are a little less, but I find this acceptable in the room I am using.

I like the remote because I do healing work in this room and I can adjust the temp without getting up from massage table. Back to reliability: I can't say for this unit, but I have used a Soleus dehumidifier for two summers and it is an outstanding machine. I give this unit a 4 because of others reliability experiences and the slightly higher EMF. As far as performance is concerned, I am thrilled. I needed a machine that was efficient and quiet and this fills the bill. Oil and quartz fell short of the mark. I had planned to get a mechanical thermostat model but they were out. I spent $10 more for the digital and like the way it works and the remote, I think the mechanical would have been more reliable in the long run however. When a digital unit dies it is usually the electronics that fail. (I am a former repairman)

Addendum: Still works fine in spring of 2013. I love this heater--heats room fast and quiet.

I bought this thermostat because the temperature on the top landing of my stairs where the original thermostat was located was totally different than in our master bedroom and kids' room. With this thermostat system, the temperature is based on wherever I put the wireless unit. We keep it unmounted on the nightstand. Here are some clarifications of things I could not find elsewhere or took a long time to find out.

1. A common wire is needed. This is the wire that provides electricity to the thermostat. Not all thermostats need this wire nor are all HVAC systems wired with one. Some basic units do not have a common wire. An easy way to figure out if you have one is to pop off the face of your current thermostat and see if there is anything connected to the terminal marked with a "C". If not, you do not have a common wire or at least it is not connected. If you have some spare wires, you can easily connect the other end to the C terminal on your furnace. Without the C wire, this unit will not work.

2. The system is easy to install. I'm no electrician or even much of a handyman, but simple logic makes this an easy install. Just put the wire in the C terminal on your current thermostat to C terminal on this unit. W to W, and so on.

3. The return air sensor is not necessary. If you don't know what this is, don't worry.

4. The large grey piece with the red on the bottom is what mounts to the wall where your existing thermostat/wires are. It's pretty large compared to a thermostat, but it doesn't look bad. The unit with the controls and green face is what can be moved around to any room and the thermostat/furnace will operate based on the temperature wherever this unit is.

Installation and programming was very simple. Only negative was that the thermostat and controller won't reconnect after power cycle. You have to manually push the connect button. There is a duct sensor for this issue.

Just installed the unit installs easily out of the box. I spent about 15 minutes to mount the base on my wall and connect all the wires. I didn't install the return air sensor it's optional. I also din't mount the thermostat I prefer it to be mobile. I can now put it in my bedroom for more accurate temperature control, or bring it downstairs if we're all there. Very flexible. The kit works a lot better than a 20-dollar basic thermostat which takes some time to "think" and start or stop the system.

We had a wired thermostat in the hallway of the bedroom wing of our home. My wife was wanting the thermostat moved from the hallway to the master bedroom. I thought a wireless thermostat would allow that move and also allow for the thermostat to be moved again if that became necessary.

My original idea was to replace the wired thermostat in the hallway with the Equipment Interface Module (EIM). This would be an easy swap-out and since the wiring was already in place would minimize the time needed for the job. It should be noted that the thermostat wire I had in my wall had all the wires needed to hook up everything in this kit including the return air sensor wiring. That may not be the case for others.

When I pulled the EIM out of the box I realized that mounting it in the hallway wasn't an option. This thing is pretty big around 8 inches square and about an inch deep. Being grey, red & large, it didn't exactly blend into the wall. I didn't need my spouse to tell me that this thing wasn't going to work in the hallway even I could figure that out.

The good news is the EIM can go almost anywhere. So I mounted it on a basement floor joist, below the bedrooms and not far from the furnace. Installation was straight forward. As noted in other reviews, the EIM requires a connection that some thermostats do not the "C" connection. This is the 24 volt ground connection and was labeled "T" on my furnace.

After I installed the components, I programed the thermostat and everything is working like a champ. My wife is very pleased with the ability to place the thermostat anywhere she wants it.

Ordered three as gifts for people on Pine Ridge Reservation who desperately needed heaters to keep warm. They didn't heat well to begin with. None of the heaters were used full-time, or during the day, and certainly not overnight. In addition, the heaters went to different people. After just over a month's use all three began to smoke and the constant smell made the owners afraid to use them. This purchase was a major disappointment as well as a TOTAL waste of money. They certainly weren't inexpensive. The only reason one star was given is because the system forces one to rate items. Had I been able to give no stars, I would have.

A lot of research went into choosing this dehydrator. While I like the look better of some of the square, black models on the market, the functionality of this machine won out. I liked that the heating element is on top, so if there are any drippings I don't have to worry about it leaking into the motor. There is a fan that evenly distributes the heat to make it faster and more efficient. It is also extremely easy to clean. All of the layer come apart and can simply be wiped down. The thermostat and timing features are easy to operate and read and it comes with a great instruction manual that helps you determine the heat and time setting of a wide variety of foods. Finally, I liked that additional trays can be purchased and up to 20 trays used at a time. I purchase large quantities of fruit when it is in season, and can now process it quickly. I sat on the sidelines for a long time looking at dehydrators but when I finally jumped in I'm glad I chose brains over beauty. I have and would recommend it to anyone considering a dehydrator.

This heater makes a large room toasty warm. Imagine how such a small and inexpensive heater can heat a large room on the canadian border. I wish I had bought three of then instead of just one of the Duraflame plus the DeLonghi and Honeywell heaters. This is an old house with little insulation. Main heat source is a valiant woodburning stove but it cannot heat two floors and does not really heat the main floor completely. Take a walk into the closed room with the Duraflame and you could be in Jamaica...well, at least in the American south. I normally would not write about appliances. I obviously was not systematic enough in my research. If you are reading this, forget high-priced space heaters and trust in the tiny Duraflame.

I found this Duraflame 14T had decent to good reviews. The only question I did not have an answer to was how quiet it was. I had the hardware shop open it and plug it in. It was a quiet as one can imagine. I brought it home, plugged it in and smelled a hot smokey smell. I thought it was burning off the packing chemical/oils however with 3 minutes of turning it on, there was a "POP" sparks flew out the grill and it started smoking profusely.

I am returning it the same day I bought it and HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT PURCHASING THIS UNIT.

If you do, DO NOT LEAVE THE ROOM WHILE IT IS ON!!!!!!!!!

Is it possible to love a heater? If so, I do. This little guy puts out some serious heat, distributes it well in my 15'x15' room, and does both quietly. Prior to buying this, I had purchased a radiator type heater that just didn't put out much heat so I returned it. I love that I can turn on the thermostat and let it go. Nothing more to think about. The oscillation feature is a huge perk. The only thing I'd add is a feature that automatically turns the unit off if it is knocked over. I paid fifty bucks for it at my local HD, which I did so I could easily return it if need be. No need. I'll run this thing 'til it keels over.

I've personally owned one of these and I have worked in a quilt shop that sold them. They have a one year warranty. I (maybe) used mine 6 times within that year and it died. For no apparent reason it would not heat up. When it worked it was great but that was such a short time that I felt totally ripped off. The quilt shop I worked at stopped carrying them because customers came in wanting to return them and the warranty was through the company which had ridiculous requirements for warranty. A very cheaply made product. The company should be ashamed! Don't buy one unless you have money to throw away. I give it no stars!

This is not a toy this is the real thing. Kids should not use this iron as it gets very hot. It is perfect to keep beside the sewing maching and press out the seams you sew as you go. It is so handy and convenient. I carry it to all my sewing classes and a lot of my friends use it. I don't mind sharing but I'll be glad when they all get one of their own. It is truly awesome!!!!!

Like the ease of use and wooden handle, heats evenly. Knob gets really hot to touch when go to turn off (easier to just unplug). Wish it came as set with own stand, had to order one separately.

I've been using Wrap-on heat tapes for the last 10 years, they are easy to work with. I like the indicator light on the power cord, I can tell at a glance if the heat tape is working or not. I now have three heat tapes of different lengths.

We live in a motor home and use the heat tape to keep our water hose from freezing in the winter. I've used the Wrap-On tapes down to 20 below zero and the water always flows as long as we don't loose electric power. I'm surprised that Wrap-On does not market to RV owners.

This tape is superior to the type that has the temperature sensor under the insulation.

I've had this dehumidifier for 3 weeks so I can't say how well it holds up. So far the cons are:

the continous-drain hose attachment works very well (unlike the Kenmore model I tried previously), it works fine, easy set up, the filter is easy to remove and clean.

The cons: It is very noisy and even though it is in the basement I have to turn it off overnight as it is directly below our bedroom. It is very smelly (chemical smell) the first week or so.

I'm happy I found it and just went and bought the 30 pint model for some of my upstairs rooms...

This is a quiet and awesome little fan. Does not make much noise on high. This fan seems blow a lot of air on high. The unit fits my 34.5" window, and does not require the removal of the screen to install. Note that the fan would require the physical removal and flipping to work in exhaust mode (I believe you may need to remove the screen in this instance as the front of the unit protrudes more than the back).

The three fans operate depending on the speed setting. High is all three, medium is the outer two, and low is just the center. Thermostat seems to function, although I keep it on 65 and it stays on throughout the day. Overall great purchase, highly recommended.

I have had several types and brands of window fans, and they run for days at a time in my apartment on exhaust mode to remove smoke, cooking/frying smells, etc. This fan is by far the smallest in height almost half the size of the other dual fan types.

The pros:

Much smaller in height

Much quieter

On high it delivers better performance than the dual

The cons:

Does not fit as well in my window there were large gaps that I had to cover with tape to get adequate sealing/performance

Unless you run the fan on high all the time ( I do ), one or more fans will not be spinning...(on low only one spins, medium two, high all three), so unless you run it on high, you run the risk of bugs coming in etc/basically have an open window. Not a huge deal because the fan is quiet on high but worth noting

Alright here is my situation. I live in a 350 sq foot studio on the first floor with a cat. During the summer when it is hot, I can't sleep with my only window (yes just one in the whole apartment) wide open because of safety concerns and my cat likes to climb screens. So, I was using a single little fan I got at target placed in front on 1-2" opening in my window. Needless to say, it got stuffy and warm.

Bring in the Bionaire Thin Triple Window Fan.

First, it shipped like really quick and it wasn't prime eligible (which is a bummer) so I was worried I was going to have to wait awhile, especially since shipping was free (implies ground shipping that is super slow). I placed my order mid day on Monday and it was at my door Thursday afternoon!

Second, it was very easy to install, it was delivered and within 5 minutes it was pumping in fresh air.

Third, my window is actually to tall to technically install it vertically however it was secure enough without being secured on the top that I am going to leave it with the gap.

Fourth, someone mentioned a rubbing sound, my unit faintly rubbed as well at first but it quickly went away. I noticed the rubbing sound (again very minor) is only present when I first turn it on and then it goes away quickly.

Fifth, even on the highest setting this fan hums along nicely will pushing quite a bit of air through.

Sixth, the price is a bit high for a fan but given how perfectly it solves my particular situations problem, I don't care because it was worth it.

Overall, I would recommend it, especially if you are in a similar situation.

I have a couple cheap-o twin window fans that work OK, but are pretty loud. Mounted in the 1940s era double-hung wood windows throughout most of the house, they cause extremely annoying reverberations when run at the high setting, even if I try to dampen the vibrations of the windows in their frames.

I was attracted to the Bionaire Thin Triple Window Fan because the reviews seemed favorable and seemed the closest solution I could find to my idea of making something like this from several quiet computer cooling fans. I sourced one at one of the major big-box retailers in my area, however the one I found has manual wheel controls for fan speed and temperature control, rather than LEDs. But otherwise I believe it's the same fan as in this listing.

Build quality seems decent and the fans are indeed pretty quiet, though not super quiet. Compared to the twin window fans I already have, the Bionaire is probably less than half and maybe 1/4 as loud. Most of the noise seems to be from air passing through the unit and not from the motors. Best part is each fan seem well dampened and the weak vibrations that transfer to the window frame aren't strong enough to cause any reverberations.

The unit I purchased came with an accordion-like sleeve preinstalled along one side that can be pulled out to block the remaining opening in the window. However, my windows are only 23" wide and it was immediately obvious, once out of the box, that the fan was too wide. The instructions state it's designed to fit windows with a minimum 25.5" width (and 8" opening height). I had visited the Bionaire website beforehand, but was unable to get the product pages to display correctly and therefore couldn't find the specifications, which also weren't listed here. At first I was disappointed because the other aspects of the fan looked great. But a bit of tinkering by unscrewing six of the eight screws that hold the fan's housing together, allowed me to pry it open far enough to remove the accordion-sleeve. The resulting width of the fan (as seen in the product listing here without the extension sleeve) is about 23" and fits the window with about a half-inch gap on the side, which I plugged with a small towel.

As for fan speed... it seems OK. There are probably more powerful window fans available, but for an average sized room (that is west facing with three computers that heat it up very quickly on summer afternoons), it creates good enough air circulation with it exhausting air from one of the room's two windows and all three fans running.

Too early to state anything about durability and reliability, but wanted to point out that it could be a tight fit for smaller windows.

Four stars so far. One deducted for no specifications printed on the unit's box. In hindsight it might have been a good thing since I probably wouldn't have bought it if it stated, as the instructions do, that minimum window width is 25.5". As explained, a bit of very easy tinkering got it to fit a 23" window.

I use this fan in the summer time to cool the house over night. It's very quiet, even on full speed (all three fan blades going), is easy to operate, easy to store (I take it out of the window every morning.) and even looks good with its black finish. The construction quality is excellent and it's very easy to operate without having to move or tip over. It fits fine in the window vertically, but I'd imagine horizontal use would be equally easy. My only complaint is that I wish it had a remote control, especially for the price, but that might be too much to ask.
