I bought this remote to replace the original remote I had with my fireplace around 7 years ago. My old one was having wiring issues. The Skytech remote was VERY easy to install and use. I really like the backlit LCD screen. Works great and has a nice wall mount. Very light weight and I have not had any problems with it interfering with our wireless network. It is programmable or just set it to a temp you want and it works great! No complaints.

Works GREAT!! Easy to install, works flawlessly. Now we no longer have to bend over, press the Pilot button to light our stove, just simply sit back, press the button and WOOSH.

I primarily have used it like a thermostat. Before installing the Skytech the only control was a simple switch on the side of the gas fireplace insert. If I didn't pay close attention the room would get way too hot. Now the Skytech cycled the gas on and off to hold a steady temp.

We keep the furnace set much lower now and just heat the great room we occupy the most.

Product came with receiver and transmitter....and even batteries, although the two AAA batteries were too weak to use. This caused alittle anxiety as I first thought the transmitter wasn't working! Alas, I replaced the "new" AAA batteries....whua, lah...the unit worked perfectly. Packaging and delivery was great....keep up the good work!
