The part looked worse than my old one. It worked at first but now it is doing the same thing my old one did. My dryer is tore up again with the same problem. It didn't last very long for what I paid for it.

Replaced a burned out thermostat and thought that would be it, but found we needed a timer too...poor dryer...after 3 boys and 15 years, it finally said no more. It's been a great one and after replacing this part (and the thermostat) it works like brand new again...even if it doesn't look like it! What do you expect in an all male household with only one female to keep them from tearing it down tussling down the halls and such!
