The part looked worse than my old one. It worked at first but now it is doing the same thing my old one did. My dryer is tore up again with the same problem. It didn't last very long for what I paid for it.

Honeywell RET97C0D1005/U 7-Day Touchscreen Programmable Thermostat Reviews
this item is exactly the same as the Honeywell RTH7600D Honeywell RTH7600D Touchscreen 7-Day Programmable Thermostat i confirmed it %100, its just that Honeywell sells the exact same item to different department stores with different model numbers, so if you want more detailed reviews on this item just follow this link Honeywell RTH7600D Touchscreen 7-Day Programmable Thermostat
As for my review:
My heat system is a heat pump system from the 80's add it was time to update the thermostat so i got on of these, it took me no more than 12 minutes to change the Thermostat. The little instruction stickers this one comes with are clear and easy to follow. . And the "alternative wiring" chart is really helpful since some of the wire names have changed but their function hasn't.
It is worth mentioning that there are default programming settings, based on Energy Star recommendations. I'm sure the summer settings would save energy, but they would not make for the house being very livable for us, as we prefer a summer temperature in the 70s, not 80s. I'll try the heating settings come winter, as they may be more realistic.
Once installed and working, the thermostat has a feature that ensures it reaches the right temperatures *at* the times I specified. It got it wrong the first day (it was a little warm when we came home), but by the second day it had adjusted itself to the conditions of our house, and now the temperature is very reliable, and very constant (does not swing at all). The thermostat does an EXCELLENT job of regulating temperature.
The touchscreen is crisp and responsive. I agree with other reviewers that the backlight needs to be activated by a touch anywhere on the screen, and not just on a button. (Doing so requires you to undo whatever your touch did.) Still, there really isn't much need to play with it once you've got it programmed.
On the whole it's a good unit. Honeywell's been in this business for a long time.
It has one cool feature that many other thermostats lack: If you have the A/C on at night and a front comes through and the temperature in the house drops SEVERAL degrees lower than your pre-set temperature, this thermostat will fire up the furnace to keep you from waking up too cold. This is a separate setting, and you have to search for it in the manual, but it's there and it works.
The touch screen is decently sensitive and quick to take a setting change. As one other reviewer pointed out, it will light up when you touch it, but only if you touch it in the right spots (as opposed to anywhere on the screen).
4 stars and not 5 (2 reasons):
1) The user interface is a bit '90s/primitive, but definitely usable. But I'm a tech-type so I can deal with it, but this thing still confuses other users in the house.
2) It's a little too smart for it's own good: If I program my A/C to 70-degrees at 10:30PM, it's because I want to have the house warmer right up until 10:29 and 59 seconds. Well, this thermostat figures out how long it takes your house to cool (say 2 hours), and then it begins at 8:30PM trying to cool your house to 70 (so that the house temp. is 70 by 10:30 PM). That's not such a subtle difference. It means the A/C's cranking, freezing me out, 2 hours earlier than I'm ready for it. Maybe there's an override for this, but I haven't dug out the manual to research it yet. Workaround: Set it to 70 for a later time.
When I first tried to program it, it would keep going on and off, resetting, etc; and then it just wouldn't work. I removed the thermostat to check the wiring, which was per the instructions. I remounted the thermostat and it's been fine ever since. Like one other reviewer stated, the interface is a bit archaic.
The instruction book and installation manual is for this model and the RTH7600D.
The touch screen is bright and saves the turning on of lamps to view or change vs my old one that many times i used a flashlight to view or make changes.
It keeps the house right at the selected temperature as opposed to a +/1 degree.
It is so easy to use and make changes whether you want to change the program or turn it off or raise or lower the temperature.
I'd highly recommend this thermostat.

Where this thermostat shines is its accuracy; it will hover more tightly around a given temperature. Example: say you set the A/C to 76 degrees. My old thermostat would let it warm up to 77, then cool it down to 75. Not this one. It keeps it on 76.It has one cool feature that many other thermostats lack: If you have the A/C on at night and a front comes through and the temperature in the house drops SEVERAL degrees lower than your pre-set temperature, this thermostat will fire up the furnace to keep you from waking up too cold. The only installation issue was finding a short piece of wire to jumper the 'AUX' & 'E' terminal together and some start-up aggravation. I would look at my existing thermostat wiring and prepare better if I had to do it again. "The clarity of hindsight is blinding"When I first tried to program it, it would keep going on and off, resetting, etc; and then it just wouldn't work. I removed the thermostat to check the wiring, which was per the instructions. I remounted the thermostat and it's been fine ever since. Like one other reviewer stated, the interface is a bit archaic.

The fleece sheets arrived when they said they would, they are very warm but we have noticed that they do tend to "shed", noticed when changing the sheets there is pilling on our mattress pad, like the fleece is "shedding" & they continue to do this after each washing. We do love them though & haven't taken away the chill factor of regular sheets on a cool Winter night.

Very warm sheets, nice fit for California King. Are somewhat clingy when you perspire. Though quite warm and comfortable once you acclimate yourself to the sheet's performance.Best Deals on Royal Heritage Home Micro-Fluff California King Sheet Set
This product was very poorly manufactured. It shrunk the first time I washed it and it is always a battle getting it to fit. I would not recommend this productHonest reviews on Royal Heritage Home Micro-Fluff California King Sheet Set
These are wonderful sheets -I am a hot sleeper and these are not hot. There are nice as my feet don't like a cold bed and with these it is not. Just remember with the plush sheets DO NOT use fabric softner or fabric softner sheets or you will have the little balls all over.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Royal Heritage Home Micro-Fluff California King Sheet Set

Seems like these last about 5 years, then conk out. This is the second time it's been replaced. It has a LOT of capabilities, most of which aren't used but it works as it's supposed to, so we'll see how long it lasts.

This worked great for Thanksgiving. It cooked our Turkey in half the time a regular oven would take, leaving the meat moist.
The "burn in" only took about an hour, not a big deal.
The lid and roaster pan are coated metal, which lifts out for easy cleaning.
wasn't enough room in the oven. Worked great. This is now the "family" roaster for anyone to use. Wish I had bought it years ago.
This is a great product that can be used for ANYTHING you would use a normal oven for. I bought another one last year because it is such a wonderful product. This year they will both get used!!!

I have a Nesco Roaster that I purchased at least 12 years ago. I loved it!! It was great for turkeys, ribs, stew, beans, anything!! The only reason I was replacing it was because the Teflon coating was starting to come off and the roaster was getting "hot spots". The lid had seen better days, and... well, it was just tired! The roaster I ordered was the same as my old one so I expected many years of use and enjoyment. I was soooo wrong! I received the roaster and it was very cheaply made. The lid was thinner and the metal was ripply. After two hours of "airing" it out, the smell pretty much was gone but still noticeable. I figured, oh well, nothing is made as well as it used to be made and proceeded to wash the roaster so I could use it for dinner. I didn't want to use it the first time for Thanksgiving and have any surprises! It's a good thing!! I made Teriyaki chicken tenders with vegetables. EVERYTHING stuck to the sides, to the point that it took major scrubbing to get it off, even after soaking over night. I was a bit surprised but figured I would have to live with it. The deal breaker occurred when I was cooking the chicken and tried to remove the lid. It wouldn't budge. When I finally pried the lid off, the paint from the lid had melted onto the roaster, fusing the two together. The burning paint stunk to high Heaven and is permanently on the edge of the roaster. Though the roaster pan and the lid seem to have bonded, the same is not true for me. It's going back! Paint that melts when heated can't be safe. So disappointing and so sad!! :(Best Deals on Nesco Classic Roaster Oven, 18-Quart, Porcelain Cookwell
Bought this roaster after reviewing others online. This roaster did everything it was supposed to do. Cooked our 20 pound turkey perfectly. Turkey was moist and juicy. Highly recommend this roaster. Bought it at Sears because it was $20.00 cheaper than online here.Honest reviews on Nesco Classic Roaster Oven, 18-Quart, Porcelain Cookwell

I purchased by first Nesco oven from QVC about 12 years ago...still works after all this time! I absolutely loved it then and still do. It cooks meat like no other oven I have ever used. The first thing I used it for was to roast a ham. It was so juicy and moist that I NEVER cook ham any other way. I used it to bake an apple pie because I had run out of room in my ovens... I thought okay it will just have to be browned in the conventional oven... NOT true.. the crust baked and browned beautifully. I use it for everything. This is a great product that can be used for ANYTHING you would use a normal oven for. I bought another one last year because it is such a wonderful product. This year they will both get used!!!

Aube By Honeywell TH104PLUS/U Programmable Electronic Thermostat Review
This was easy to install and it works well. It has four daily programs, each with its own temperature setting.
It has a setting for wiehn you go away for an extended period to only turn on when the temperature approaches 40 degrees F. You can change the programmed temperature temporarily and it will automatically resume at the next program's start time. I would have given 5 stars except the backlit LCD is not really eaxy to read.

I installed the receiver of this device in place of the simple wall switch used on my gas fireplace. It works like a charm. Now I can lay in bed and turn the FP on or off, and set a timer for it to go off automatically. I think I am a little spoiled with this new luxury!
It also has an interesting feature that checks to see if the remote is still nearby while the FP is on. If the remote is no longer nearby after half an hour, the FP shuts down for safety's sake. I believe it does this because, in timer mode, the remote has to send the signal to shut it off, and if it is somehow missing, you want it to shut itself off anyway. It also has a manual override on the wall unit receiver, which is also a nice feature.
Great product, easy to install and comes with everything you need to get it working immediately. (ie batteries in box)
The temperature display is interesting, but since most fireplaces in new homes in California are about ambiance and not heat, this works great for me.
SKYTECH'S remote control system was developed to provide a safe, reliable and user-friendly remote control system for gas heating appliances. This all battery system operates independently of household current. The system operates on radio frequencies with nondirectional signals. The SYSTEM's operating range is approximately 20 feet range. The system operates on one of 1,048,576 security codes that are programmed into the transmitter at the factory.
Remote has a thermometer which reads the ambient temperature, but is not used for setting the fireplace temperature... No big deal. The really great convenience is being able to set the timer on the fireplace ~ 15 minutes to 3 hours!.. which is really handy.... I can leave the fireplace on, go to sleep knowing that it will automatically shut itself off. Installation was a breeze! The only downside is that the remote and the receiver control box are both battery powered, which means having to change out batteries annually.

We wanted a timer on our gas fireplace in the bedroom. Quickly found out, well not that quickly, that a traditional timer doesn't work on that current. This unit was easy to install and the remote works great. On, then a countdown timer in 15 min increments. there is a temp reading on the remote. Used it all winter.Thursday, November 21, 2013

North Florida here and thought this product might be used to protect plumbing outside the pump house. After receiving the product and reading the entire manual, it shouldn't be used outside. Returned.
This is a FOLLOWUP to my original review dated January 8, 2013. Heat tape installed 9/2011 has failed. Woke up early AM 1/21/2013 and pipes were frozen. We live in a 1992 moblie home, built for us and we have lived in it for 20 years. The original heat tape lasted us 15 years then failed. We a had it replaced by a heating contractor and that failed us within 2 years. That is when we replaced it ourselves with this product, now that has failed. Luckily I purchased a second one but I don't hold out much hope of that lasting very long. Will now go to hardware store to purchase a heat gun.
