Reviews of WC-20TL: ThermoElectric with Touch-Sensitive Controls (20-Bottles)
I have had my Sunpentown 20 for a week now and I like it. Most bottles I have fit except for one of the fatter reds that I have. The shelves slide out and the light is a nice touch. It emits a very low hum. It sits next to my computer and I really don't notice it unless the house is very quiet. The touch control is not overly sensitive and its max low end temp is 54. I plan to regularly clean the exhaust and intake vents since I suspect dirt in them killed my last wine fridge which was NOT a Sunpentown.

Reviews of Pfister Raincan Shower Head and Arm: 8 ¼-Inch Diameter Head
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $173.00
Sale Price: $49.99

It looks really good in the shower and it IS a rain shower as advertised, however, the short arm it comes with is useless... if you buy this shower head you need to buy a longer arm. The water pressure that comes through it could be stonger but it works okay, I just stand under it longer to get my thick hair wet. Besides, I think all the rain showers are like that.
For a rain shower head it's of good quality and looks great, but the shower arm is unacceptable in my opinion. They shouldn't include it, as it just makes people angry. If you don't plan to buy a longer shower arm with the purchase of this shower head, then don't buy it. I don't regret my purchase though I just wish I would have known I'd need a longer arm... And that's the reason I'm only giving 3 stars.

For the price, this is a fantastic shower head both look and operation. It does come with an 8 inch shower arm, but ideally should have a 12+ inch shower arm.Honest reviews on Pfister Raincan Shower Head and Arm: 8 ¼-Inch Diameter Head

Great shower head, which meets the quality expected of Pfister. Has shorter arm. Bottom line, a good quality shower head for low ceilings or tall people.Saturday, August 9, 2014
Buy VillaWare V5555-20 Disney's Princess Waffler
Bought this cute little waffle maker for my niece who loves the Disney Princesses. This waffle maker imprints deep belgium-like waffle marks on one side and Cinderella and her prince in the pumpkin coach on the opposite side.
These are quite large waffles. The first time we used it I made a small batch of batter (suggested servings 5-7 waffles) and was only able to make 1 1/2 waffles out of it. But they cook up quickly, sometimes done before the ready light turns off, and they are light and fluffy.
I found this one clearance for $9.97, and think it was a great buy. At the time I wouldn't have thought I would use it enough to pay $30 for it, assuming it was just a novelty item for us, but everytime I see (2-3 times a week) her she requests Princess Waffles.

This thermostat has only 2 contacts in the back.
The thermostat from my Whirlpool dryer has FOUR contacts.
The strange thing is both parts have the EXACT SAME part number....I don't get that.
I ordered this part for a whopping $17 (Amazon Prime) only to find out it has 2 contacts.
Had to return for the 2 contact version.
My understanding is that the extra 2 terminals are for an internal heater withing the thermostat to bias the temperature.
This seems to agree with the Amazon description of the 4-wire part having "internal bias" in the title.
Again the big problem here is that both parts show the exact same part number according to Amazon.
So know which type you are trying to replace before ordering.
My one-star review is not based on the part working or not, but rather on the confusion that identical part numbers is causing.

Replacement Whirlpool, Sears, Kenmore Dryer Thermostat Kit 279769 Review
If your Whirlpool/Kenmore electric dryer is tumbling, but not heating up, this may be just the fix you need. With a continuity tester, check to see if this fuse or thermostat are blown. With videos easily found online, you can save yourself a bundle if this is the problem.
UPDATE: Thermal fuse blew out probably less than 20 loads since I installed it.

This product includes a thermostat and thermal fuse. Even though I only needed to replace one, I followed the recommendation of replacing them both After three days the thermal fuse (silver and white component) failed and appeared fried. Fortunately this was not the part that required repacing and I was able to re-installed the original. The replaced thermostat though continues to work great. Thank goodness this was the part that actually required relacing. Had I really needed to replace the thermal fuse my review would have been only 1 star. So if you actually need this thermal fuse component, I'd look elsewhere.Best Deals on Replacement Whirlpool, Sears, Kenmore Dryer Thermostat Kit 279769

Nice thermostat for wet environment but comes with 1/2" hole already drilled in the top and doesn't include a grommet or plug for that. Would be ok if thermostat wire was in conduit but most greenhouses I work in have thermostat wire just stapled or tied to building or frame. I would prefer the hole at the bottom or none at all. I can drill my own hole. End result, you have to supply your own water proof grommet or plug.
Note: They make one that is prewired and ready to go for those of you with no electrical skills. It plugs in the wall and you plug your device into the back of that plug.

I purchased three of these to be used for heat lamps to keep pipes from freezing. Mine have worked well for over a year. I have one in my well pump house, one in swimming pool pump house and one at the hunting cabin. You have to wire it yourself and you can wire it normally open or normally closed to cut something on or off depending on the application. I cut the heat lamp cord and wired each of these in the cut. So now there is no having to remember to turn the heat lamps on or having them run all the time even when it is warm. I set mine to come on at 35 degrees and they are accurate. They also could be used to cut on a fan when something gets hot like a dog house.Note: They make one that is prewired and ready to go for those of you with no electrical skills. It plugs in the wall and you plug your device into the back of that plug.

I have been hoping that this unit would improve--or that once we replaced windows, added insulation that this unit would work better. It dehumidifies, awesome......I can pull the plug, this year and drain it daily. However--it cannot cool. We have been having a very hot week at near 100 during the day and nights in the high 70's the room, I am using it in, is on the South side of the house and it gets so hot in the evening. This unit cannot keep it below 80 degrees--which is too hot for me. Sadly--I just got frustrated, pulled the plug and brought my small 5000 btu window unit into the room and turned IT on--the room has gone from 80 with this unit--to 76 in ONE HOUR!DO NOT BUY! It is fairly loud, too.

This is our second unit. The first one lasted 5 years of so. The last 2 and a half years, it ran 24/7 in our data center. If this one lasts as long, I'll be extremely happy.Honest reviews on Sunpentown WA-1220E 12000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner
I bought this sytem thinking it would at least provide some comfort from the Southern Cal heatwave we got durring the summer of 2006. Bottom line, IT DID NOT. The square footage of the top floor of our apartment is approximately 500 square feet. The largest temperature drop was from 91 degreees to 89 degrees at 9:00PM. Even sitting directly in front of the system's fan (approx 10 feet away) did little to cool one person, so forget about cooling a small room. Please look elsewhere if you want a room larger than a small closet cooled.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Sunpentown WA-1220E 12000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner
For its size and BTU rating I had expected much more from this unit. It is a pain to drain the collected condensed water tank, several times a day. It operates very warm, which makes this more of a heater and less of a cooling device. Even with the remove and clean filter a lot of dust still gets into the case, and instead of using standard philips screwdriver for the body they use several different head styles some of which are expensive. In addition, when i first got it, it did work but only if you stood in front of the vent, meaning that when it does work if you want to benefit from its use you have to sit in front of it. Bottom line, save your money and get a better one.Tuesday, March 18, 2014
Lux Products LV2 Line Voltage Double Pole Heat Thermostat, Sterling Review
This thermostat, made in China, has a kind of metal plate inside which is the only reactant/reactor/heat-sensitive element, and it is very "gross", in that it needs quite a large temperature change to move enough to turn on or turn off one's heater. So you'll wait until you're being roasted before it turns off, or until you're freezing before it turns on.
I'm willing to be proven wrong on this, but that is my experience with the "lux" thermostat. Also, there is some confusion in the way Amazon is listing this; the LV2 is a double-pole thermostat, while the LV1 is a single-pole thermostat. Theoretically (if the damned thing worked at all) it is possible to wire up the LVV2 as a single-pole thermostat, only using one of the two microswitches inside.
But it still won't be sensitive enough to know what that median temperature for turning on and off is; you'll overheat and get cold before it kicks in.
By the way, I tried every possible location including holding it in front of the heater vent (where it did have the decency to turn the heat off, I have to admit).
Unless there is some fact or factor I'm not understanding, putting this product on the market was an amazingly crass and cynical act.
I pulled both of the Lux LV-2's. Replaced one with a Honeywell digital and the other with a Honeywell mechanical. Both Honeywells work well and the $20 mechanical holds within about 3 degrees total.
Finally, I took one of the LV-2s into the electronics lab at work. We put a 500 watt load on it in an enclosure and it would not shut off. The thermostat frame was nearly too hot to handle but it would not shut off. After it had cooled we again tested with the ohmmeter and it again seemed OK when cold and not under load.
Buy another brandthese are poison.

Ok, I would have to agree with the other reviews that have had problems with this item, if only i had read the reviews before purchasing two of these items then i wouldnt be trying to return them right now, afetr installing these thermostats i noticed that with the room tempreature being 73 degrees these thermostats would not turn off untill i turned them down to around 55 degrees, that gives it around a 17 degree difference. so if you want an acurate thermostat do not buy this item, put out some extra cash and purchse the LUX ELV4 programmable line heating thermostat, i now have two of these units and they are the best, they have a digital thermometer built into them so there is no need to worry about checking your heating system after programming these devices, your room will be nice and warm when you wake up and will turn off when you want it too.Best Deals on Lux Products LV2 Line Voltage Double Pole Heat Thermostat, Sterling
I replaced two old thermostats with Lux LV2's in my future retirement house. I had checked them with an ohmmeter before installation and they seemed OK. So I merely made sure they would turn the baseboards on, set them back to 60 degrees, and went home (85 miles away). Fortunately my wife and I decided to go back the next day instead of the following week. When we got there, one of the rooms was over 70 degrees and the baseboards were on. I had to move the dial back to below 50 to turn them off. The other room was cold. I needed to turn that thermostat to 80 before it came on, but then it didn't turn off until below 50.I pulled both of the Lux LV-2's. The thermostat keeps a narrow temperature range which is good. The only problem is that the temperature setting dial is about 6-8 degrees off. I set it at 60 to get a 67 degree room.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Lux Products LV2 Line Voltage Double Pole Heat Thermostat, Sterling
I tried to save some money by changing out our old thermostats. Going cheap on the thermostats was a mistake. This thermostat uses the old method of bimetallic material to switch on and off. It was poorly calibrated and when the room was 70 it needed to be turned past 85 to work. They would get stuck on and create all sorts of problems with the room temperature. I returned these chinese made hazards and purchased ones that use a chemical cell to detect temperature. The electronic ones are + or 1 degree. These units are + or 20 degrees and get stuck on. Forget them. We returned them. Round two on the install!Monday, November 4, 2013

I purchased this wood stove about 3 years ago. I have owned other stoves in the past and was very pleased with each one...until I bought this one.
I live in New England and here we need to depend on a good reliable source of heat.I had not seen this stove prior to purchasing it...mistake #1. None were on display anywhere in my area. I went on the recommendation of a friend who had one, but knew nothing about wood stoves....mistake #2.First off, the stove is very hard to regulate. It either is set low and smokes all over or all the way open and will blast you out of the house. It probably would work better in a large home for that reason.
It is a poorly built cheap quality most likely a Chinese made stove(as quoted on another website). The first year I had to replace the door gasket 3 times until I emailed the company and they sent one that has worked fine since. The door is out of alignment and doesn't fit flush. The hinges have a lot of slop in them. Year 2, the handle broke off, very poor design and materials.I emailed and complained about it and they did send a new one free. Year 3, Some of the fire brick are now breaking and the grate has broken. There is a big hole in the middle. A new one on their website costs $ + shipping. They are also to last for years according to their website.
This is not an air tight wood stove like I thought. There are gaps in the doors and The fire box is thin metal. Overall it does technically work, but for the money it is very, very poor. Please do yourself a favor and look to a different company.I purchased this stove over 2 years ago to to replace an old oil burning stove. I could not be happier. Our family home is about 1200sqft, and this is our only heat source. I have even used the top surface for cooking meals during power outages a few times. It is very well made with cast iron doors, and heavy gauge steel box. Please read instructions on proper heating to prevent smoking if you are not familiar with wood stoves. Works greats, keeps us warms, and very efficient wood burner!
